Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Holborn. Built in 1546 to serve the servants of Bishop Ely who lived in the palace next door, it is named after the hat of a bishop. It is a bit difficult to find, located in Ely Place near where William Wallace was executed, and is famous for a cherry tree that Elizabeth I danced around with Sir Christopher Hatton. Inside are beautiful dark wood beams and heavy oak furniture and lots of Elizabethan memorabilia. There is a small room in front of the bar, a bit larger room behind it with a smaller room called the Closet located off of it. Outside to the side is a narrow seating area and there are tables and chairs in front in the narrow passageway. Being a Fuller's pub, London Pride was my beer of choice.
