Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Durham. Dates back to at least 1600 but couldn't find much else about this pub. It has a small L-shaped bar just inside the front door, some old brick and stone walls, beamed ceilings, a room upstairs, and a large outdoor patio. I chose a Shuggy Boat Blonde from Cullercoats Brewery in nearby Wallsend and enjoyed an end to my Durham crawl in the sun out on the patio.
