Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Gloucester. Located across from the Gloucester Docks, it has been a beer house since 1871 and is named after the metalworkers from the docks, and in 1996 was extended to include the adjacent building that dates from the 15th century. Lots of quirky space around the central bar and a garden area out back. It is another classic boozer and is owned by Arkell's Brewery (Swindon), brewing since 1843. The 3B was delicious - a copper colored ale with a fruity and malty nose, balanced with Fuggles and Golding hops.
