Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Wenvoe, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. A wonderful, cozy pub that is the hub of the village located about 8 miles west of Cardiff, with a population of approximately 1,200. Established in the late 18th century.
It has 2 small rooms and 2 small bars, and 3 outdoor seating areas where you can order your drinks through the "hatch". It also has a large petanque pitch. Next to the pub is a memorial honoring the village servicemen lost on D-Day. It is owned by the Brain's brewery of Wales, and operated by the Marston's brewery. My local for 10 days we were in Wenvoe - always so nice to get to know the bartenders and locals when we stay in a small village.
