Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Haytor, UK. The Tinpickle and Rhum is a brasserie cafe and pub at the Moorland Hotel in the Dartmoor National Park. It was built in 1887 and in 1916 Agatha Christie wrote her first novel "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" here. It is very spacious with two large rooms. I enjoyed a new beer to me, Coachmen's Wheel Best Bitter brewed by the St. Austell Brewery in Cornwall. Nice and crisp with just the right amount of bitterness.
