Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Theodore Bullfrog. London. Located around the corner from the Charing Cross station, it was originally licensed in 1690 as the St. Martin's Tavern. Previously part of the Whitbreads Beefeater chain. It was rebuilt in 1959, probably as a result of damage from WWII. Renamed the Gilbert and Sullivan in the 1970s and then the Theodore Bullfrog in 2000.
Not the old traditional pub that I usually visit. Much more contemporary due to the post war rebuild. Bright with lots of space and a very comfortable feel. Also a couple of small drinking spaces - I always love to find these. A Young's pub, I enjoyed a London Special as I soaked in the sun coming through the window.
