Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Belgravia. The pub dates from 1826 and although it has gone through a major revolution recently it still retains a bit of an old pub feel and features a beautiful ornately carved bar front. I was excited to see Allsopp's Best Bitter on tap. Samuel Allsopp & Sons originated in 1730 and was one of the largest breweries operating in Burton-on-Trent. Jamie Allsopp, seven times great grandson of Samuel revived the brand in 2020. This was a delicious beer said to be brewed as closely as possible to the original recipe, and is the kind of discovery I really treasure on my crawls.
