Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Oxford. After a walk down a narrow road bordered by a great old wall I reached this lovely corner pub built by Halls in 1839. A beautiful dark wood interior includes a balcony level overlooking the main bar with a ceiling mural copying 'The Creation of Adam" from the Sistine Chapel, with both figures holding a pint of beer. There is a small front terrace garden and a larger garden in back. While enjoying a golden ale from Purity Brewing in Warwickshire, I had a lovely chat about the history of the pub with the bartender Julia, whose journey started growing up outside Rio de Janeiro, then to London, Chipping Norton, and Oxford! I love public houses!
