Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Gloucester. The left hand building was originally a pub called The Sword in 1680. It was later named the Spirit Vaults, The Union, The Tailors House, Molly's Bar, and then The Sword again. The pub was extended to the building on the right in 1990. This building was once the workshop of a tailor named John Pritchard who inspired Beatrix Potter's story The Tailor of Gloucester. No cask ales available here, so Carling Lager from Burton-On-Trent was my beer of choice.
