Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Belgravia. Established in the mid 19th century. Not easy to find - through an archway onto a quiet cobbled mews. Like the Nag's Head it originally catered to servants who worked in the posh Belgravia houses located nearby. It was a hangout for London's inner circle of master criminals who planned the Great Train Robbery (carried out in 1963) here. They met upstairs in The Library in groups of no more than four to avoid suspicion. It was also the hangout of famous cat burglars George "Taters" Chatham and Peter Scott. Scott pilfered from stars Lauren Bacall, Judy Garland, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Vivian Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor, and Sophia Loren. He famously popped into the pub after stealing a 200,000 (pounds) necklace from Loren announcing "I hear poor Sophia has been robbed!". Famous patrons include Peter O'Toole, Albert Finney, Bing Crosby, and Princess Margaret. A Fuller's pub, London Pride was my beer of choice.
