Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Birmingham, Lower Temple Street, Birmingham, UK. Originally established in 1774, the pub moved to its current location in 1911. Located around the corner from the Birmingham New Street Railway Station, on a Saturday afternoon this place was rocking (I think the "Brummies" party as hard and as loud as the Welsh)! A nice spacious interior with a large redwood bar and lots of old wood, and a small outdoor seating area were packed with locals really enjoying themselves on a nice weekend afternoon. A Nicholson's pub, I grabbed a pint of their pale ale and stood outside chatting with a couple of the locals, and man were their accents hard to understand. So I just leaned in and tried to catch as many words as possible! Cheers!
