Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Manchester. Located on the edge of the Chinatown district, this pub dates back to 1824. There is a spacious open area surrounding a classic wooden bar with ornate carvings and beautiful stained glass windows and etched glass mirrors. The staircase that goes up to the function room and down to the toilets have metal spindles shaped in an Art Deco design. And a quick word about pub toilets. A lot of them are downstairs or upstairs from the pub and many use narrow (and sometimes spiral) staircases with uneven narrow steps. So be prepared to risk your life to pee when visiting a pub in the UK! Members of the pub can drink until 7 a.m.! My beer of choice was Seven Oaks Ale brewed by Greene King.
