Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Bath, UK. Sam Weller is a fictional character in The Pickwick Papers, Charles Dickens' first novel, and is the character that made Dickens famous. It is claimed that the pub is where Sam Weller once drank (and of course also Dickens). It is a quaint little pub located in the city centre. The interior consists of a nice spacious front room, a small bar with an accompanying bar area in the middle, and a cozy drinking room in the back (with a beautiful mosaic skylight). I had a jovial chat with bartender Jordan and enjoyed an Gem Amber Ale from Bath Ales/St. Austell Brewery. Delicious!
