It is claimed that the pub is where Sam Weller once drank (and of course also Dickens). It is a quaint little pub located in the city centre. The interior consists of a nice spacious front room, a small bar with an accompanying bar area in the middle, and a cozy drinking room in the back (with a beautiful mosaic skylight). I had a jovial chat with bartender Jordan and enjoyed an Gem Amber Ale from Bath Ales/St. Austell Brewery. Delicious!
