Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Soho, London. Dates back to 1736 and the current owners pride themselves on running an independent establishment that stays true to the historic roots of the venue and the ideals of what a London pub should be. As opposed to The Devonshire located across the street (see my previous post) this is a cozy intimate bar with just a few tables at the front and rear and a few stools against the wall in between. A nice small bar with a cool bartender who extolled the virtues of the tiny bar. Lots of etched mirrors add to the beauty of this little gem. I enjoyed a Sussex Best Bitter from Harvey's Brewery in Lewes. I discovered this beer last year when we were in Brighton and I always get it when I see it on tap.
