Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Richmond. It is located at the corner of the village green and a nice little alley, it was established in 1740 as a coaching inn when it served weary travelers and buoyant merchants. It was more than just a watering hole for Charles Dickens - it was his muse, his solace, and the setting for his works "Little Dorrit" and "Barnaby Rudge". It's latest claim to fame is as the filming location for the hit TV show Ted Lasso (it is known as The Crown and Anchor in the show).
It is a Fuller's pub, and I enjoyed a crisp ESB. I had a lovely chat with two retired publicans who suggested not only other pubs in Richmond but also in London. A true public house.
