Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Chelsea. The pub dates back to the late 17th century when it was named the Black Lion. Peninsular War hero quaffed the "unadulterated beverage of malt and hops" here. By 1820 it boasted a bowling green and tea garden. The present pub was rebuilt in 1892. It was formerly owned by Chelsea football legend Frank Lampard, and Prince William and Princess Kate have visited here. There is seating around the small flatiron shaped bar with small rooms on the side and in the back. Harvey's Sussex Best (Lewes) was my beer of choice.
