Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Glasgow. Located in the West End, The Park Bar opened in 1895 and has been a hub for the city's Gaelic community for over 120 years. For more than 50 years it has been a popular venue for Ceilidh music, hosting some of Scotland's finest traditional musicians. They also specialize in Scottish drinks and food. A spacious open plan room surrounds a beautiful wraparound bar, with lots of the dark wood I like to see in an old pub. I ordered a Gladeye IPA from Drygate Brewery in Glasgow and sat down amongst the locals to watch some Scottish rugby.
