Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Manchester. Built in 1552 and originally located in the Shambles area, it is the oldest building of its kind in the city. It became a licensed public house in 1830 known as the Vinters Arms, later the Kenyon Vaults, and was renamed The Wellington Inn in 1865. In 1996 a terrorist bomb caused considerable damage to the pub. Over a period of two years the building was dismantled and moved about 300 meters to its current location. Of course this pub oozes history. It has a small bar on the first floor, many rooms on three floors, and a spacious beer garden in front of the pub. Nicholson's Pale Ale was my beer of choice. A must if you visit Manchester!
