Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Birmingham, UK. Constructed in 1862 by architect Julius Alfred Chatwin, the building was originally a library for St. Phillips Church across the road. It later became the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank (and Exchange) and then Lloyds Bank in 1889. It became a pub in 1997 and added a theatre in 2006. The interior is stunningly beautiful and has retained many of its original fixtures and fittings. The gorgeous bar and dome above is the centerpiece of the room. This is a Fuller's pub and serves more London Pride than any pub in the UK. I opted for an HSB Premium Bitter which was originally the flagship beer of Gales Brewery in Hampshire. I sat upstairs and soaked up the ambiance of this wonderful pub.
