Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Richmond. Built in the 18th century. Prior to 1725 it was known as the Six Bells. There have been up to 8 pubs operating on this site. It became a Young's pub in 1860. It also used to house the town stocks. Legend has it that Queen Charlotte once saw the beadle (church official) in such an inebriated stare that she ordered him put instockes next to the criminals that he may well have condemned!
Of course lots of nautical memorabilia decorate the walls I enjoyed a new beer to me - a Naked Ladies Gloriously Hopped Golden Ale from nearby Twickenham brewery - really delicious!
