Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Newcastle upon Tyne. Located off of the Bigg Market it is the city's oldest pub, dating back to 1582, and is the city's last surviving coaching inn. Charles I was known to visit while being held in an open prison near by, and the King Charles room still feature the chair where he is said to have sat. There are two bars and many rooms in the interior and two seating areas outside. Unfortunately there have been many renovations over the years and this does not really feel like an old pub.
