Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Brixham, Devon. Originally a 17th century sail-loft, it was converted to a pub in the 1850s. The small bar area has beamed ceilings, slate floors, a wood burning/ stove, and entry is from a tiny alley that leads to the harbour. There is an upstairs room that is accessed from the upper roadway. My beer of choice was Cornish Best Ale from St. Austell Brewery.
