Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Falmouth, Cornwall. Established in 1861 and originally known as The Mason's Arms, the pub is located on Killegrew Street (the main street running through town) and has a history rooted in the town's working-class past, serving as a gathering place for workers and locals for generations. One of the reasons I enjoyed this pub were the many different rooms/places to sit and enjoy a beer. On the ground floor there is lots of space around the tiny bar as you enter and there is a small snug. The second floor has several nice rooms including a sort of indoor/outdoor snug. And the best is the three-tiered beer garden in the rear. I enjoyed three tasty Cornish ales - Patchwork Rocket from Firebrand Brewing, Pendragon Cornwall's IPA (Tintagel Brewery) real ale from the home of King Arthur, and Treen's Krowsek Cornish Ale. Highly recommended if you are in Falmouth.
