Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Totnes, Devon. Dating back to the 1800s with the first registration known to be in 1837 and is of course named after Admiral Lord Nelson. In 1866 the pub was used as a place to receive dead bodies (a mortuary). There is seating around the small central bar and rooms around it in the front and back. But my favorite part is the cool walled beer garden out back, where I sat and enjoyed a Doom Bar Amber Ale (Sharp's Brewery, Cornwall).
