Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Tyne-Yr-Oden, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. A 20 minute walk along a narrow footpath through the meadows and woodlands between Wenvoe and Tyne-Yr-Oden brought me to this lovely little country pub, which has been the main meeting place for the hamlet for generations (I didn't see any other public buildings!). The hamlet is so small there is no population figure available - it is grouped with four others and included in with the town of Wenvoe. The approximate total population is 2,800 (Wenvoe accounts for approximately 1,200) so you can imagine how tiny it is. It was a nice cozy place to stop during my walk through the Welsh countryside.
