Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London. Located in the shadow of Trafalgar Square on Whitehall Street, it was built in 1870-1873 and was the premises of bankers Messrs Cocks Biddulph and Company. It became a pub in 2021. Its name honors the Queen's Guard who are stationed behind the building. Lots of stable and horse items are in every room to support the name. Walking into the huge front room was eye opening – like a grand hall. The large painting in the room depicts the royal calvary charging forward in a “death or glory” scene. With its high ceilings and arched windows it is a truly beautiful place to sit and enjoy a delicious IPA from the McMullens brewery.
