Falmouth. Established in the 1700s, the pub has been known as a gathering place for sailors, merchants, and navy men whose ships were docked in Falmouth harbour. The front of the pub faces busy high street and the rear has a panoramic view of the harbour. It has a history of displaying ship's crests, each representing a crew who visited the pub. A hopping place during sports events (the Austrian F1 Grand Prix the afternoon I was there). My beer of choice - Tribute Cornish Ale from St. Austell Brewery.
