Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Fulham. Built in 1455 it is reported to be the oldest pub in Fulham (although it has been renovated and has a very contemporary look, especially the bar!). Notable patrons included playwrights William Shakespeare and John Fletcher along with Bishop of London Edmund Bonner. It was licensed in 1737 and was called the Fulham Coffee House. The original building was torn down and rebuilt in 1836. In the 1970s it was known as a rock music venue and it was a meeting place for Led Zeppilin, who recorded at Emerson Lake and Palmers's nearby Manticore Studios. No cask ales here so had to settle for a Carling Lager.
