London, South Kensington. A beautiful flatiron shaped corner building, there has been a pub on this site since 1795. At one time Richard III was housed here when he was Duke of Gloucester while repairs were being done to his nearby castle. A Greene King pub, I celebrated the festive season with a Fireside Winter Ale.
