Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Oxford. Established in the 1830s, this cozy pub is tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Jericho neighborhood and was once known as St. Hugh's JCR, a nickname given to pubs that served as living and working spaces for students when colleges didn't have bars. The pub has retained its original layout, with a central corridor, rooms on either side, and a parlor with a serving hatch. There is also a large garden area in the back. Another former Morrell's pub, it is now a free house. I ordered a pint of Harvest Moon Golden Ale from Moonraker Brewery in Warminster and enjoyed the garden.
