Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Salcombe, UK. Dating back to the 17th century, "The Fort" is located on the town's high street near the seafront in the centre of town. The cozy interior features stone walls, wood beam ceilings and a brick fireplace, with a nice seating area outdoors.
There are beers on tap from the Salcombe Brewery company which is actually located just up the road in Kingsbridge from where we are staying (I have had a couple of growlers from them). Here I enjoyed their Devon Amber, which has a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness.
