Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Dartmouth. Dates from 1838 and was originally named The Royal Union Inn. Renamed The Dolphin in 1939. It is a nautical themed pub with flags festooning the ceiling and nautical photos, oars, and paraphernalia covering the walls. Formerly a Plymouth Breweries pub, it is now a free house.
As you can see it is quite a festive feeling interior. My beer of choice was an Accolade Pale Ale from Bridgetown Brewery in nearby Totnes, a beer I had not seen before. It hit the spot before I took a nice stroll down by the Dartmouth waterfront.
