I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.
Manchester, Cateaton Street. Located next to The Old Wellington, this pub dates back to 1793. It is a Joseph Holt (brewing in Manchester since 1849) pub and the Bitter was my beer of choice. A nice place to stop before or after the Welly.
