Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

City of London. The original Cross Keys Inn was one of four City of London inns licensed to hold plays in the late 16th century. The Queen's Men (and possibly Shakespeare's Lord Chamberlin's Men) performed here. The inn was destroyed during the Great London Fire of 1666 and again by fire in 1734. The current building was designed by W Campbell Jones in 1913 as the headquarters of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. As with other banks turned into pubs the interior is quite grandiose. A huge space with tall ceilings, marble pillars, a glass dome over the staircase, and a small round bar in the center of the room. A Wetherspoon's pub, there is a nice variety of beers to enjoy in these opulent pub.
