Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Mayfair. A smallish corner pub in the historic Shepherd Market area. Originally named The Royal Oak, then the Ducking Pond, the Dog and Duck, the Crown, and the New Chesterfield Arms in 1769 (named after the Earls of Chesterfield whose family owned most of Bingham). Rebuilt in 1938. Close to the RAF Club in Piccadilly, the pub was a main drinking spot for Fighter Command in WWII. A single room surrounds a central bar with a dining and function room located upstairs. Enjoyed the Stanhope House Bitter.
