Oxford. A pub on this site from 1780 was called the Paradise House and was rebuilt in 1892. Some period features remain (brickwork, ceiling beams), although it has a pretty contemporary look. Upstairs is a long room behind the small bar, and downstairs is the more cozy "Boudoir". It was taken over by Hook Norton in 2016 and I was happy to see some many of their tasty beers to choose from.
