Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Cardiff. Built in 1867, originally the tallest building on St. Mary Street and rebuilt in the 1880s to reclaim the title after a rival market had built a taller building. Originally named the Borough Arms then became the Bodega in 1897. Renamed The Borough Arms in 1961.
St. Marys Street is a long pedestrian avenue in the middle of Cardiff. There are a lot of pubs to choose from and this was my favorite. There are so many reasons to love this pub. The interior is long and narrow - I always like to see this. The bar is beautiful. There is a nice small room in the back decorated by all kinds of old photos and knick knacks. The wooden "cabinet" in the middle of the room is a toilet. And my favorite - a row of drinking booths along one wall. If you are in Cardiff make sure you check this one out!
