Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Bicester, UK. Dating from 1674, it was previously the Plaisterer's Arms and the Blue Man before becoming The Angel in 1804, and was the last pub in Bicester to brew its own beer. Two spacious rooms inside and lots of space outside including a garden area, the tented Marquee, an outdoor snug, and the Barn Bar. I sat outside in the snug and enjoyed a Tickety Brew Pale Ale from Vale Brewery in nearby Aylesbury.
