Svolvaer, Norway. Translated as "Steering House Pub" , it has been Svolvaer's informal meeting place since the late 1980s. The pub is almost an institution in town and has become known as the place where "everyone meets" (and watch football!) I was there mainly to taste a beer from Lofotpils, a brewery located just up the street. As with most beers I have had in Norway is was a delicious, smooth, crisp pilsner.
