Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Preston, Lancashire. This pub was established in the 1850s in the shadow of the Preston Guild Hall. Preston is located on the River Ribble in Lancashire about 35 miles north of Liverpool. When we visited several years ago it was a bit run down but it has bounced back and is looking good.
This is kind of a traditional pub with a contemporary makeover. It still has some nice dark wood and the smallest drinking booth I have ever seen - room for one! And I dig the casks over the bar.
