Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Oxford. An inn has been recorded at this site since 1397. It has been rebuilt at least once, the last time in 1716 as the New Inn. The original name was The Bulldog when it was owned by Courage, and has also been called The Hobgoblin before being renamed the St. Aldates Tavern in 2005. A large space and a couple of small rooms surround the main bar downstairs and upstairs is a smaller bar in The Blue Room. I couldn't resist the Hop Kitty (made with Cascade and Citra hops) from XT Brewing in nearby Long Crendon. Damn tasty!
