Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Manchester. Known as the Abercrombie, built in the 19th century and named after Lieutenant General Sir Ralph Abercromby, it is one of the few structures remaining in the area from the Peterloo Massacre and the wounded were brought to the pub for medical treatment. There is a mural adorning one of the walls commerorating the massacre. there is a beautiful dark wood bar with etched glass features, and there are open areas surrounding the bar. My beer of choice - Twin Coast Session Pale Ale from Sharp Brewing Co. (Cornwall).
