Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Brighton. Dating back to 1535, this pub has a long history steeped in legend, with tales of its use by smugglers who transported contraband through tunnels that are still visible today. But the most momentous event in its history took place on June 24, 1901, when the meeting that led to the formation of the Brighton and Hove Albion football club was held here. The interior of the Victorian style building has undergone refurbishments that have transformed it into a modern, stylish art deco bar. It features eye catching mirrors, plush red and blue velvet seating, opulent wallpaper, and it retains a beautiful red tinned ceiling. A large central room surrounds a small rounded rectangular bar, and there is separate room in the back. Unfortunately for me they have no cask ale, but it was still a beautiful pub for me to begin my pub crawl in Brighton.
