Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK. The original Rose and Crown was built in 1596 and was a hostel that then turned into an inn, formally called the Green Dragon. A malt house was established here in 1683 by Richard Hull, Maltster of Stratford. It was renamed the Rose and Crown in 1858. The Tudor style exterior leads to an interior is deep (it has been described as like a Tardis) and fairly narrow with a long bar in the middle. Towards the back is a nice drinking booth and outside is a spacious beer garden. It is a Greene King pub, and I believe the Rose and Crown Pale Ale is brewed by them (if so I think it is one of their better beers!).
