Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Rottingdean. Dating back to the 1840s and located in the picturesque village (population approximately 14,000) of Rottingdean, which has history dating back to the Saxon times. The famous prizefighter Tom Sayers used the pub for training in the 1850s, and it was the headquarters for the Rottingdean Cricket Club. Inside the impressive brick structure the interior features oak beams and wood paneling, and remaining sections of the original flint walls can still be seen. A single front room surrounds a quirky shaped central bar, and there is another room off to the side. Outside is a small beer garden. Next to the pub is the village pond and green, and St. Margaret's Church , parts of which date back to the 13th century. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a Triple Act Pale Ale from 360 degree Brewing Company from Uckfield.
