Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Falmouth. Located on the Moor (a busy area in the heart of Falmouth), the pub is one of the town's oldest establishments, dating from the mid-1700s. The name is derived from the old Celtic name for Falmouth "Pen-y-cwm-cuic", which translates to "head of the creek". It was formerly known as the Wodehouse Arms and although recently renovated it still contains old wood floors and stone walls, and has some seating on the sidewalk in front of the pub. My beer of choice was Hicks Special Draught Traditional Strong (5%) Cornish Ale from St. Austell Brewery, brewed with English Progress and Golding hops.
