Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Solihull, UK. Located a couple of miles from the Solihull town centre, this country style pub dates from the late 18th century (when it was known as Olton Hall) with the present building dating from the 1930s. It was renamed the Olton Tavern in 2015. The interior is open and spacious, and outside there is a large beer garden and its own bowling green! It has seven handpumps and it was nice to have a Pale Brummie from Birmingham Brewing Company, a delicious Citrus Pale Ale that is one of my favorites here.
