Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Fleet Street. Built in 1886 and occupied by the Bank of England from 1888 to 1975 before being refurbished and made a pub in 1994. The vaults beneath the pub contained gold bullion and are said to have held the Crown jewels for a period. It is also said to be close to where fictional character Sweeney Todd plied his trade. Of course the interior is huge and opulent with high vaulted ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and a gorgeous balcony surrounding the central bar. In the back is a small outdoor seating area. It is a McMullen's (Hertford) pub and I enjoyed a pint of their bitter.
