Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Solihull,UK. It was originally named the Limerick, then renamed the Barley Mow. O'Neill's is a pub chain in the UK (I have been to a couple before). Generally I am not a big fan, but the faux Tudor style building drew me in. It is a nice spacious pub with several rooms and a small bricked bar. They are very proud of their Arrowsmiths interactive dart experience. My biggest disappointment is that they have no Real Ales. After enjoying so many nice ales, I must say that a carbonated lager is quite underwhelming (even though Camden Helles is a decent beer for that style). Probably my last visit to an O'Neills.
