Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Solihull, UK. A rambling early 19th century building located on Solihull's town square. the brewery deeds go back to the 1750s when the cottages were occupied by masons working on the church on the opposite side of the square - hence the name. Large and spacious with many rooms, lots of wooden beamed ceilings and brick walls, and a big beer garden. My old friend John Smith's Tadcaster (from Lancashire earlier this year) was the beer of choice.

quaint, yet spacious with a sprinkling of history
